Williams
Family Tree
During the Reconstruction Era in Givhans, Dorchester County, South Carolina, the talk of slavery was easily remembered in every household. The severity of its pain and mental scars could still be felt among many. Young Andrew Williams and Amy Nelson grew in such an environment. Together, with their love of God and their love for each other, generations were born. Little is known about Andrew and Amy except that they were our oldest known relatives. With limited information, research was almost impossible. What we do know is that from this union, three sons were born. They were Lucious, George, and Issac.
